Dirty silver FH dollar

Not my coin, but I saw it on Gary Adkins' site, and I really like the look.

I think I like it better than mine:

I can't imagine Mr. Adkin's wouldn't want to work it out with you if you were so inclined.

I agree with braddick, partial trade plus cash could be worthwhile if you like it that much more

This is a nice coin!

as dry as numismatics can be, at least the way i practice it; i do so try to add a splash of art from time to time, or at least my interpretation of numismatic art
.
I think I'll have to hold out for a clasher myself...
Oh, wait a sec. I don't own one.
And here is the piece that I have for the type, a two leaf variety piece.
One of the challenges with these coins is that all but a couple of the die varieties are not sharply stuck. For example the second piece I posted as a little mint luster inside some of the letters, which would suggest EF-45 instead of EF-40, which it is graded. The trouble is the coin does not have enough "meat" to qualify for the higher grade. I almost did a trade for a sharper one, but when I put the two coins side by side, I didn't think that the extra detail was worth the additional money (several thousand dollars) that I would have had to pay to make the deal.

This is a two leaf variety B-1, BB-21 . The die engraver entered the date as "1195"
and then corrected it by sinking a "7" over the second "1". It can still be seen next
to the seven.
