Big heads don't get no respect.

I've had this coin since Hector's MOM was a pup.
I like the big head ones because there are fewer of them.
AND.... the coin is purdy..
Yet they aren't as pricey as it seems they should be.
On Collector's Corner, there are eight big heads and fifty one of the capped BUST type.
Only thing I can figure out is that availability determines value.
(this coin must have been a VERY early CAC. ????)

I'll respect her, now and tomorrow.
I can see what you are talking about very beautiful coin!
They are pricey enough. It's hard to get into a really nice one for less than 5 fugures. That one would cost more than the low five figures if it's as nice as the picture indicates it is.
The 1813 is the most common date for that design. Thank goodness for the 1913! If it were not for that date, this type would cost a great deal more.
I like it and wish that I had one.
That looks like an outstanding coin! I like it.
Oh yeah... that's a real nice looking coin!!
The design itself is not the most ascetically pleasing rendition of Liberty in my opinion. She looks like she has a size 18 neck and does bare knuckle boxing matches to make ends meet.

The eagle seems a bit disheveled, as well.

A nice gold coin... I tend to agree that the depiction of Liberty is not the most attractive one.... but then, IMO, only the Peace dollar has a really attractive image.... Cheers, RickO
nice i like
I actually like it better than the one with the bust included.
Those look like bust half dollars to me.
....kinda....
Tossup with the dunce cap design.
The two types pictured in this thread are two that I hope to own someday. Thanks for sharing....Mike
Sweet !!!
That’s one pretty looking Fathead. Great coin. Love it.
