Beautiful coin! It does look like rub on the hind but the buffalo’s mane looks perfect. I’m guessing it netted to a 62.

I can't even begin to grade from True View Pictures!

What am I seeing on the upper cheek bone? Other than that, looks like a 64 or so, though Buffalo's are not my series.

Rub on the tail and hip. At least that looks like what I see from the pic.

I'm in the AU camp. I see rub on the hip and some of the other high spots. I'm at a high end AU-55 shot at 58. I think it could bean at either grade.
I see a considerable rub on the cheek and hip bone. Shame if so, as this looks to have a nice Unc. look at first glance. Great coin, I would love to hold this coin in the light. Might be 58.

After another look, I will join the at camp. Nice coin well struck, but there is wear, a bit.
There is definite wear, I’ll say 55, but wouldn’t be upset if it was 58.

My initial thought was 58 and that 53 was robbery. However, if you zoom in really close, the large number of contact marks across the Buffalo’s body make a 53 grade more plausible. Still, a great looking coin.
