Excellent choice of year for cameos, and a beautiful grouping
.
25c is DCAM both sides from here- I like the satiny frost on its reverse, which has more drama than the chalky look induced by the v. v. v. light toning on the $1,
Very nice set. I particularly like the quarter.

Gorgeous set. Congratulations on completing same.
Nice! I especially like the half and dollar!
Good hunting!
I know how hard it is to put these sets together, especially in Cameo. I put together a 1913 set, which is not as hard, and was not going for Cameos. I really like the quarter and the dollar.
Awesome set!!! Congrats!

None of the three 1913 5c proofs comes with good cameo, but it's a significant year without the Lib. LOL
1913 is much more challenging than '07-'12 for incidence of contrast, and '14 and '15 Barber proofs with attractive (if any) cameo degrades so abruptly that those years are not even close to fully demonstrative of what dramatic cameo can evoke from a viewer.
What an awesome Morgan!
Very Nice! Congrats!
I like the looks of that.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
That set is very well put together! Congrats

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Excellent!
Thats a great set, congrats on completing it. Its nice to look at 19th C. cameos.
That is spectacular! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful numismatic achievement.

I am putting together a grading set of 1883-O DMPL Morgan's from MS60-MS66 including the plus grades.
Very nice coins!!
I think that would easily be in the top five in the registry set
Looks really nice. congrats.
PVETTER mentions "top five in the registry set" for this 1890 Cameo proof set.
The coins in the set exist and have been around since 1890, maybe at one time in the past even under the same ownership. The individual coins are currently the same as they were 20 years ago (or more).
The individual coins now are owned by HighRelief and he has graciously posted this thread so that forumites can vicariously enjoy the end result of his labors.
I look at the photos of the coins and think about how much joy I would get acquiring this set, owning this set, playing show and tell with this set and eventually selling this set to someone else who could enjoy same.
Then I think of human nature and marvel at PCGS coming up with and implementing the Registry Set. The concept of a Registry Set clearly adds to the hobby (and to the revenue of PCGS) and takes into account the nuts and bolts of human psychological makeup.
Kudos to our host; and to High Relief.
Great looking set, what an accomplishment! Congratulations.
Simply gorgeous.
WOW! Extremely IMPRESSIVE proof set!
Well done! Congrats!

Awesome! I also agree a couple more could be DCAM. I wonder what is holding the Morgan back? It sure looks nicer than the 65+.
Congratulations!!! That's excellent!!! I'm working on an 1893 proof set (no gold).
