I used to see listings that were crazy as a hoot owl selling on eBay. "Look; superslider; wow; pq gem; looks ms66 plus" all with lots of !!! and other superlatives. Now most sellers have toned those down due to stricter rules.

"upgrade potential" but the fact is AS always...the seller already factored into their price the promise of "upgrade potential" :/

"You Grade" (From pictures) I use that all the time but I follow it up with my opinions, most times. When buying ,I'd like to have the sellers opinions , not just a picture. More info the better.

On the paper money side, if the eight-digit serial number has just one leading zero, it's called a "low serial number".

My least favorite is when a seller uses “better date” for 1881-S Morgan dollars and other similar bellybutton dates.

Never heard "bellybutton dates" before. B) Is that like asshole and opinion? :D

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Perhaps referring to the NGC certification strap around many GSA holdered coins. I hear "bellyband" for these quite often. Of course, for GSA sold CC coins, just three dates appear more often than all the others. Or perhaps he is just referring to common date "O" mintmarked coins (the mintmark might be interpreted as a belly button).

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

A bellybutton is just a common Morgan referred to as such because everyone has a bellybutton and everyone has a common Morgan

Things I like to do: Collect PL Morgans. That’s is all.
