These have come down drastically in price, so I thought I would get one. This is my first commemorative issue, I want an Oregon as well. This one is in an OGH. Commem images welcome in this thread. :)

Best, SH

It's a nice addition. I don't own any but wouldn't mind doing so. It's certainly a good time to buy them. The OGH increases the 'cool factor'.

I put together a Texas set at one point early in my numismatic career. Great design.

    Be careful. They're addictive. :)

Yeah, a nice Texas is on my shopping list too. It's almost harder to pick just one when there are plenty of them out there. Yours has a really sharp, clean look and you're certainly right about them coming down in price.

Thanks folks for the comments, would love to hear from everyone what they think I need to look for in an Oregon. Would love to get an OGH MS65 CAC - where are the striking issues in Oregon's that I need to look for?

Nice Texas commem.... and yes, the Oregon Trail goes well with it.... I have both.....I like the commemorative series and they are reasonable now... Cheers, RickO

There's so much out there to collect. It's quite easy for some issues to get lost in all of it. I must admit, the Commems are very alluring, and I echo the comments above.
