Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. That is interesting. There is an odd wear pattern at 12 O'clock, I can see right through it.
I would like to see the US make a bi-metal coin... after we stop making $1&$2 bills.
That is a lot of wear.....probably from someone 'wearing' it...

I doubt the wear is from wearing it. It looks to me like wear from keeping it on a keychain.
