OK - Against my better judgement... 2018 Investment Contest! *Final, Painful Results*

Rules:
no currency market currencies
no futures
no futures options
no cryptocurrencies (but anything on a stock exchange is game)
no stocks already in bankruptcy

kitco for metals first and foremost.
I'm buying on the ask and selling on the bid.
other metals not on kitco will need a quote source.

options: it'd be most helpful if the ask prices on friday's close, or just before, were provided, and bids for those writing options. I'm not sure I'll be available for a computer visit on friday. I'd rather not confront a open to stub quote as a hassle.

I see greek bonds were played in 2017. that's fair game as long as I have a quote source.

# 1 winner will get a Silver Eagle Ex: painted

The OP should limit this to one guess. No one will win this with several picks and are thus only using the OP as a quote service. There are many free websites that will track many stocks, so those with multiple choices should just use those.

Ease your workload Ms. Morrisine....limit the picks to one.

Not so - it actually does depend on what those picks are.

Ah, that’s what you are saying. Yes, you are likely right. But if you look at what you originally posted, it wasn’t this. It was a dg at the picks and saying it was a source of quotes (which makes no sense). I do see your point now.

I would also say that in a bull market, a diversified portfolio could easily limit risk to the down side over single picks.....thus, it could win. You’re right tho, at the end of 2018, we will see.

Let's hope! I don't have a penny in that ETF myself, as I pick my own weed horses.

If I were to swing for the fences for a maximum end of year ROI for this contest... I'd probably go with MARI:CNX (Maricann Group). Their funded production capacity compared to their market cap is very attractive. How much of it gets to harvest during 2018 is a big question mark though.
