Ok. Took a minute to closely examine each pack. Obviously I have opened a few boxes recently and documented for myself potential sequencing. Unfortunately this box doesn’t appear to have any of the golden ticket cards showing. That said I did isolate a few packs that I think could be hits for Mario. But I really think there needs to be a very few select cards showing in order to guarantee it. We will test the theory of the secondary cards tonight.
The first three packs are my most likely to hit Mario packs. Fingers crossed. In the very least hopefully we won’t have the gum issue like last box.
I love these hockey rips. So sorry to see the results so far of this box. Here's to better results in the remaining packs.
What are you doing with the commons from these boxes?

Hoping for a better second half but it’s not looking promising. One thing that is a positive negative (?). The packs are all consistent so it just reconfirmed my faith in BBCE wrapped boxes.
The commons are all going in penny sleeves and CS1s. If any have a shot at 10 I will sub them. I am building a set registry set aiming for all 10s. I may eventually put together nice raw sets once I’m finished. Hard to find time now to do it so it’s a down the road project.

Now this maybe something. The Pelle Lindbergh is one of the tougher pulls out of this year. There are currently 8 PSA 10s out there. This is a solid 9 with potential.
Yes it was a crack and sub. I don't know if I'd have the guts to do it on a high dollar 9 that could comeback otherwise but this was a no brainer. It has perfect centering, corners, and edges. One very small unnoticeable in hand surface mark.
My goal now is to find a show where Mario is signing and PSA is present to crack it on site, get it signed, and have it become the first 10/10 Mario RC (Topps or OPC ). I missed a chance last fall at the Expo when PSA was there and Mario was signing. Who knows if I'll get my chance but you gotta have goals!

So jealous. I have a Topps Mario RC from a rip that is a 10, PSA has just yet to agree with me on that though.
