It would take more knowledge than I have to put a date on that one.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I'm thinking fair 02. I don't think it would dip to even PO01+.

Hard to say.... try a mild acid dip..... ;) Since the date is not legible, I am doubting it will straight grade. Cheers, RickO

Fair 02. Far too much detail "merit" a Poor 01.

Peripheral lettering is easily readable. That kicks it up FR02/AG03.

Somehow this coin does not look like it has "honest wear" to me. The centers are much too sharp given the weakness around the rim. Perhaps this is some sort of a "manufactured" low grade piece.

Or has some has suggested about this & the other one: both may have gone through washers/dryers countless times.

The coin came from a coinstar reject bin. oops
