Replica 1787 Fugio Needs Be Removed.

EDIT:
Not the auction ends soon. I do know you can STILL flag the auction for being a replica/counterfeit. If we can flag it to get it removed even though the auction is "over" Ebay will eventually still remove it and will mean the novice buyer will not be able to pay or if he/she has paid it will be immediately refunded or stopped. I know this as I bought a 1884-s AU 50 Morgan and after the listing I paid via Paypal echeck and the next day it was removed (fake PCGS slab I think. Never got a full answer) and Ebay stopped the check.

So for this listing and others: flag even if auction is over.

If you can report. Brand new account too.

Yeah. He got a novice to bite and is now playing with him. Disgraceful.

Bad pictures that show you very little ... Everytime you see that, run away ... don't even entertain bidding or buying when you see that. Don't buy a pig in a poke.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

That is the weirdest one I've ever seen. It's a horrible picture, I'm not sure why anyone would bid $300+ based on that picture. But the one thing that is clear in the picture is the $5.00 price on the 2x2!!! Talk about inflation. LOL.

Some people are just way, way too trusting. It is somebody who just assumes it the person on the other side is not trying anything nefarious.

Why i do my best to get these reported and removed because I know some people like that and while I wish people were more cautious it is still awful when I meet some guy who wants to sell some of this CC Morgans and I have to tell him they are all fake.

It's a bit concerning if counterfeit auctions aren't being taken down and running through completion.

  • I filled out an IC3 form just because this one really ticked me off.
