@erikthredd said: @robert67 I've seen a Michael Jordan card on ebay before that was same shape & somewhat similar color design as that Bolt but i couldn't tell you if it was from a game or not. I'm pretty sure it was some kind of custom card.
Thanks for the insight. I contacted the seller to ask where the card came from but no response. I still like it even if it is a custom.
i did a quick search on Worthpoint and this was the card i was thinking of. I don't own this and i'm pretty sure it was a custom card.

Very interesting card. There is a Mike Tyson card from this set too.
I was shocked at the selling price of this signed item but perhaps the description can lead you to the answer. I bought a raw copy a few years ago and really had no clue where or when it was made.

I'm surprised that PSA authenticated that one if its a custom job but whether it is or not, that is a great autographed card of Tyson. When I went looking for a scan of that MJ last night,i came across a thread on the Blowout forums saying that someone had been selling custom copies of this MJ while making them appear to be old. Don't know how true it is or not.
@Dand522612 That sounds like it taste horrible lol

PSA authenticated the auto, nothing more, hence the blue flip.
@erikthredd The blue flip is just authenticating the signature. They no longer put the set name on the blip flips and they will allow reprints and custom cards in these holders. Anyone buying a Jordan or Gretzky in a blue flip better know what they are doing!
Among my 23 card PSA sub delivery, I got these. Was gonna sell one but like it too much. A&G back on both, pack pulled by me. Population is only 8 and i got 2 of them.
The Kershaw completes my major modern rookie collection I was going for in PSA 10 (Trout, Altuve, Judge, Harper, Kershaw, Bryant, Arrenado) and the Ryan marks my third (PSA 7 and raw VG are my others).
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
Brian, did you sub that Mathewson yourself? Beautiful T card. Some great pickups from everyone this month! Only thing is we could use a little more Hockey.
Two more for my Sabres 70s run and a little modern too.

No, I just picked it up in another group today. Great pickups yourself. You're making some nice progress on your Sabres run.
Thank you. I need a Warren Spahn. There is one on eBay but it is priced at 2X what it is worth. I have mailed the seller to try and work out a deal. James
Great cards.
Awesome Kershaw...is that considered his "rookie"? I just can't keep up with the modern cards.
Great centering on the Jackie Robinson.
Love the Jordan and the poster cards. So who are the 6 guys on the "supreme court"?
First time Ive seen such a nice Wheaties Gehrig...sweet.
The '63 Unitas....awesome.....I could go on and on.....
Keep em coming guys.
Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all.
It's funny; the card will almost assuredly earn a grade of poor (it's been sent to SGC). And yet, it's got a certain eye appeal to it. I like to think some kid cut it off the box in 1935, tacked it to his cork board with 5 tacks to be extra secure, and listened to the Iron Horse smashing homers for the Yankees on the radio. This card was most certainly handled and definitely loved. And there's just not a ton of Gehrig cards out there from his playing days. I bet Aaron Judge ALREADY has more cards when you include all the variations...

This is likely my last October pickup. The color is vibrant, the images and text are sharp and crisp and it was fairly well cut, all things considered. It's got some scratches but overall I think it looks pretty good...

You guys are a tough act to follow. James, I love your 60s All-Stars. Your standards are so high and you never seem to budge an inch. Your cards are always flawless, I'm so impressed. That 206 Matty is a classic, love it. That Bench rookie looks perfect. Your officially out of the "we can grade it by the scan" area. There are no visible flaws so the only possible ones are surface issues that wouldn't show up in a scan. That's a sweet place to be with a card like a Bench rookie, congrats. As a Sox fan I'm not to proud to admit that I love that Jeter refractor, great pickup.
I've been on a basketball kick lately. You guys think PSA will let me combine the two 1980s into one PSA 10 card?
ReggieCleveland, Wow!!! What a nice haul of basketball. A couple of 1980 PSA 10's very nice. Like the Star cards and Thomas was one of my favorite players when he was playing. Congrats.
Reggie, nice pickups from the 80s and I'm guessing you have some really nice Michael Jordan cards. I was a huge fan back then.
I finally picked up a nice 1962 Billy Williams second year card. There's not many of these around and I've been looking a long time. I lost out on the bidding last time I saw one of these.
For those not familiar, Larkin briefly wore #15 for his callup in late 1986-1987. I'm a big fan of these early autos, but not really an auto'd index card collector. So after a bit of brainstorming, I contacted alifaxwa2 here and got this back this month...
Now I just need to get a sleeve and holder the correct size to accommodate a 5x7. I couldn't be happier, thanks Jeffrey!

Love the 63 Unitas. I need one as well
I picked these up in the last week or so. With the 1968 Horlen AS I now have 14 of the 20 1968 All Star cards in PSA 10.
James
James...an impressive run of '68 All-Star cards!
Here is some paste up art from the 1986 Topps Tattoo set (Topps Vault)
And a dual signed card by both Roger Clemens & Cal Ripken

The Kershaw completes my major modern rookie collection I was going for in PSA 10 (Trout, Altuve, Judge, Harper, Kershaw, Bryant, Arrenado) and the Ryan marks my third (PSA 7 and raw VG are my others).

I picked up a few 1963 Fleer cards for my set. I need 11 cards to finish the set.
James
I always liked the Colt 45s hat...and their home jersey w/the stylish Colt 45 gun!
Very nice James.
That is cool item. Never saw a Tatto from the Vault. Now I’m going to see if any hockey tattoos were made by Topps.
Kevin
Kevin
The Kershaw is a great card. My favorite current player
Received this card in the mail today. I love centered cards.
Very nice Robinson, great centering.
James
That is a SWEET 56' Robinson - Congrats!!
A few more recent adds:
That Jackie is the tits. Nice eye, sir!
Arthur
Freshly back from PSA (technically the 59 pickups were raw cards in August, but the 58 Willie was in October)
1958 Topps Mays - The hairline crack in bottom center is the defect here. I thought card was pretty awesome otherwise.
Beautiful 59 cards! I also love the Willie Mays. That's the best looking PSA 2 card I've ever seen!
It was a good week.
Brian, did you sub that Mathewson yourself? Beautiful T card. Some great pickups from everyone this month! Only thing is we could use a little more Hockey.

Kevin
Thanks man. I thought it would be a beauty once holdered even though it had the hairline crack.
That 58 Mays is amazing for a PSA 2. My kind of card. Congrats.
+1

No, I just picked it up in another group today. Great pickups yourself. You're making some nice progress on your Sabres run.
I just picked up this Mazeroski for my 1961 All Star subset. I need one card to finish the set in all PSA 9.
James
Nice Mazeroski James. Who is left?
Thank you. I need a Warren Spahn. There is one on eBay but it is priced at 2X what it is worth. I have mailed the seller to try and work out a deal. James
Great card James - looking forward to the Spahn buddy.
Thank you Mike. The Spahn is the last card I need to complete my 1960s All Star run. I have 101 of the 102 cards needed.
James
Added this Bench Rookie to the collection. I really think this one has a shot at a bump. Looks better than a lot PSA 9's I have seen.
Beautiful Bench - Congrats!!
A couple more Rookies arrived and added today.
Great cards.

My last (maybe) purchase of October. Best rookie of one of my all time favorites.
Upgraded my PSA 9 Bowman Platinum to a PSA 10. Also, these Mega Box Mojo ROY cards are absolutely slick in person. One of my favorite cards!
