I have a lot of favorite coins, and it can vary from month to month depending on my mood. This one, a Mint State 1800 half dime, was a lot of fun to find because I never thought I would own one that is this nice. This is one of the most common dates in the series, but that is a relative term. All early half dimes are scarce to very rare.

I fínd the use of mistress inappropriate on a forum with kids
Welcome to the forum! Don't be shy about asking questions.
Well, "Mistress" really is a term of respect.
Yes, Mistress. No, Mistress. I'm sorry, Mistress. Don't punish me, Mistress.
Wow......The "Mother" of all Dimes!
My favorite has to be territorial gold. There is just enough early pioneer in them to Draw my intrigue, with them.
I don't own any, as of now. The last one I saw was in a case at the Denver ANA. Terranova was asking a cool half mil for the $20 Mormon gold in MS 61 (PCGS holder ). I was about $492K short.
My favorite coin is an 1812 half eagle. Want to see a pic? My wife won't suspect i showed it to you.

Welcome to the boards!
One of my favorite coins in my collection is this very common date. But the coin itself is about as perfect as any piece in my collection.
Welcome aboard! There are some wonderful people here, some amazing debates, tons of incredible coin photos, great questions, lots of information, an occasional troll, and with continued reading...you'll begin to learn some of the personalities here!
WELCOME!
This forum represents American society...mostly helpful, good people, and a few who deserve to be ignored.
Don't be afraid to ask questions, and use the PM function liberally as most collectors here love to share their knowledge.
Lustrous coin, no harilines, and a connection to the days of our founding fathers...all things I like.
Commems and Early Type
First of all, welcome! Secondly, what a great question to ask. We get the opportunity to see some really fantastic specimens here thanks to your motivating question. My favorite would be too hard to choose.., that would be like asking my parents to choose which of the children were their favorites. (One of them is my icon)
Welcome!

oh chill will ye....but seriously the gal has gone MIA - been 2 days now, 1 post, I think you scared her away
Hey y'all. I want to thank all of you for your kindness and welcoming me aboard. I was having a real difficult time logging in and finally back on here. I LOVED the pics you shared. WoW...look at that Toning!! I really look forward to seeing and learning more.
For those concerned about my name...I am a grown respectable woman. I appreciate Rexford for posting the definitions so that people would know I use it in a respectful manor, and hope others will receive it in the playful way it was presented as it would never be my intention to offend anyone. (you all know how it is to try to figure out a name that is not taken...and SuperWoman was. lol)
Hope you all are having a marvelous day!!
As to the name, I never heard the end of the story about mine being "shallow". I mean, there are three sides to a coin, .... like a love triangle. Have a good day, yourself. What's your favorite coin ?
I really don't know what my favorite is yet, as I am just really getting into it. Seeing all these pics...I don't know if I will ever have a fav. Or maybe when I see it I will instantly know...this is IT!
It's a catchy name. "Numismatics" and "NumisMistress" is a cool play on words.
Have a little respect: There's another lady in the house..............

Welcome...you've certainly come to the right place to learn!
Here's one of my favorites....
