I don't know! Some sort of game counter or counterfeit. The design is in relief and it has a reeded edge. It is not actually gold, unfortunately.

I feel like I'm like your little brother who keeps trying to keep up, and can't quite do it .. LOL
Here is my 1855-D gold dollar, shot at an angle to show the luster. I way over paid for this coin, but I also think that PCGS under graded it by 5 points at EF-45.
Here's an 1880 gold dollar that is in an Old Green Label MS-65 holder that is distined to be in something better, sometime in its future, although not on my account.
