I bought these before, had to use my Pay Pal account this time.
Ten oz. isn't much to most of us, however it's a great deal.

If you took advantage of a similar previous deal, you will not be able to make your purchase:

** "We are sorry but the JM Bullion Starter Pack – 10 oz Silver Tube can only be purchased once."**

"Bongo drive 1984 Lincoln that looks like old coin dug from ground."

Anyone have link for the silvergoldbull one?

  • PRECIOUSMENTALPRECIOUSMENTAL Posts: 961 ✭✭✭✭

    Never heard of silvergoldbull.
I did a quick check and their ASE-American Silver Eagle price was $18.36, $1.00 less than Apmex!
    will check them out, Thanks!

  • BruceSBruceS Posts: 1,348 ✭✭✭✭✭

It hasn't, I probably took advantage of most of these one time "spot" deals. It was just an observation. I got several voice mails and continue to get emails. No big deal, I just delete and move on.

They don't make any/much money selling at spot, they want repeat customers and contact info for their customer base.

Why else would it be a one time only deal? If it was anything else but a marketing strategy to gather information. Just like any other promotional deal out there.

The fine print says "Year, style and other qualities may vary." so it's anyone's guess what you'll actually get.

You're at least guaranteed to get 10 oz of silver at melt so the downside risk isn't too great. The worse case scenario is you'll get a no name brand bar that's a little beat up. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Paypal usage added 3.5%, doesn't bother me.

  • Walkerguy21DWalkerguy21D Posts: 11,116 ✭✭✭✭✭

Both sites accept checks, same as cash price.
Checks have to clear prior to shipping (of course) and there are min and max acceptance levels.

It does, which somewhat negates any savings. Looks like you can mail a check or MO.

Then how do they know where to ship? Quite sure your paypal address is viewable by a vendor you make PP payment to. After all, it is the one they are required to ship to in order to maintain seller protection.

    Good Point.
    They must go by e-mail?
    Both orders are processed.

Received my JM Bullion orders Tues. and Thurs.
Received one of my Silver Gold Bullions today, same bars as advertised.
It looks real nice, a bunch of small bulls rearing up in the background,, they look almost like a hologram without the color.
Surprisingly that package was shipped with a signature required.
