Hey guys I'm very confused right now every coin shop I go to says Intercept Shield is out of business and doesn't make product anymore however their site is still up and the have a list of distributors plus Wizardcoin supplies sells up to date albums... So clearly they aren't out of business correct? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I have been looking to buy some of their 2x2 large dollar holders. However, if I can't find any could I just put my Morgans in Premier slabs and then put those in a Intercept shield box would that be just as good?

Anyone have pictures of their large dollars in IS 2x2s?

Isn't it called Coin Armour now? I thought the intercept brand was sold off, and the new owner(s) is a poster here if my memory serves.

Coin Armour uses Intercept, but you can buy some new Intercept products. I just bought some of the individual slab boxes from Wizard, but haven't used them yet. The individual boxes are a bit lower profile than the old ones.

I have been putting my better coins inside a Coin Armour bag, inside a single slab box (I'd bought a bunch used) and they actually fit quite perfectly inside the baseball card sized long storage boxes (about 25 to the box). I'm guessing with the new set up more will fit in the card boxes.

(I've had to put my coins into storage periodically and became a bit obsessed with a safe process and can't seem to break the habit).

I've used the both Intercept and Coin Armour. They seem to be about the same. They both fit in each other's boxes and vice versa. Coin Armour seems to be a tad slimmer than intercept. I recommend them.

ICG boxes were (at one time) Intercept Shield boxes... I have a run of slabbed ASE's that I purchased years ago in those boxes...I do not know if they still use them. Cheers, RickO

I believe it's Coin Armor that will send you a free sample of their product if you call them (I believe I saw the promo in an edition of CoinWorld). I called and inquired about the free sample, and sure enough, about 1-1 1/2 months I received the sample. It is thinner than the original IS, as mentioned in an earlier post, though I have nothing that can go in it, at the moment, Spartcom5.

    I'll come up with something.

Apparently Lighthouse picked up production of the 2x2 Intercept shield, check em out http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/lighthouse-quadrum-intercept-2x2-coin-holders-38mm-6-pack-large-dollars.html

last time I checked, no more ICG boxes but you can request the black, Intercept Shield insert with your coin slab. I believe it costs extra. They look great w/gold coins or w/yellow counterfeit label.

I use the pouch or bag to keep some of my silver or gold coins from tarnishing.
