2017 $50 Gold Eagles @ $39.99 over! That type of pricing is usually reserved for quantity purchases with check or wire......I've never seen that deal on single coins PLUS paypal capabilities!

I had to buy one at that price! And this coin puts me at my goal of 20oz of mixed size gold eagles now! 100 tenths, 20 quarters, 6 halves, and 2 fulls. Mission accomplished.

    Good price.

    Better price.

Can we expect a down trend in gold on Monday with 2 major players offering substantial discounts?

That was honestly the very 1st thought that popped into my head! Also I had to check multiple times to be sure the APMEX ebay page was really APMEX....lol

2 weeks ago APMEX had random date 1 ounce AGEs for $29.99 over. Got 2 real nice 2007s. After reward points they were $18 over.

    AGE not ASE LOLOL

$29.99 over on an ASE is nothing to brag about! :D (of course I know you meant AGE)

Congrats on hitting your goal! Nice to take advantage of that pricing.

Those are nice prices..... I do not see gold falling much in the immediate future. That being said, I think the dollar will rally some for a few weeks due to the political situation. Cheers, RickO

Somebody cue the Mint, because they just raised their gold coin prices this past week.

Even so, it's still an ounce of gold.

It's only the middle of the month. Gold sales are sluggish in many places. So far this month, the mint has struck just a meager 2500 one ounce AGEs.

Good question. Soft retail report on Friday and PM markets closed might indicate a pop at the open.

We will find out in a few hours.

There will be a bit of a sell off today.... but with the weekend rise, it likely will recover. Darn, I said I would give up on predictions because of my lousy record - but there I go again.... :) Cheers, RickO
