Super Fresh DIRTY OLD GOLD
These pieces were bought out of a small auction of a private collector's estate. These coins were photographed for the auction raw and were holdered by the auction company. These are some of the most original early gold pieces I have seen in a long time. I surely saved these pieces from someone who would dip them for low MS grades, just to make a few bucks.
Enjoy!

They would not benefit from restoration/preservation? I know nothing about this process on old gold and benefits/pitfalls.
Not that "dirty" but fresh looking not dipped out like many come.
Original classics.
I'm green with envy. I love them! Congratulations!
Great to see them go to a knowledgeable, responsible home.
Definitely a pair of gorgeous sheilas!
Wow. Those would be permanent residents in my box of 20.
Beautiful coins!

i am so glad you did. i am bumping this thread as it needs more attention.
Unfortunately, I couldn't save them all. Shout out to JGN Numismatics for the representation. I owe many of my finds to him and he's always been first class.
Awesome
Yes! Rescued!
Now, never sell them.

It's good to see what original unmessed with early gold looks like. So much of it has been cleaned over the years.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Spectacular coins! Congrats, and thanks for caring for them. Enjoy!
