Very nice ring @Agflyer.... You do nice work. Coin rings were very popular at one time, and when I was in the Navy....Long days/nights at sea, would find many of us making these rings with spoons and half dollars...Cheers, RickO
I made my first ring with a spoon. Took lots of hours, and lots of ringing in the ears . Pretty fascinating art, though. Thank you for your comment, and thank you so much for your service!
My grandfather served in the Navy in WWII and he would always carve rings out of peach pits when I was a kid with his jack knife sitting on the front porch to give me. I never asked him when he started doing this but I wonder if he started when he was on a ship as well to pass the time. Thanks for bringing back a great memory RickO

AlmostOver 100 successful deals on this forum spanning well over 10 years now, feel free to ask for references!yes is a quarter ounce gold eagle. the CCE offer is $555 last time I checked a few days ago
That's for a graded/gradeable 69, otherwise no one buys em...
A lot of Barry Chappell impersonators in the bst, lol...
Probably a 67/68. Not a bullion guy just saw the offer and thought I would put it out for the group, no need for the comment. would take a fair offer greysheet is still $540 and just looking to make a few bucks for the house fund.
I was responding to Jimeneez1...
you, however, obviously, still don't get it...good excuse though....
So why dont you explain then so my young self will "get it?"

I never will understand how anyone here can price their items for sale @ higher than APMEX prices for the exact same items. 2 AGE 1/10ths from APMEX would cost $282.22 shipped. Why would people pay more for them AND take the small risk of getting burned by a relatively unknown forum member?
My BST thread, please take a look.

Agree. It's not unusual to see common readily available silver bars on the BST that can be bought for less from some on the major bullion dealers such as JM Bullion, Provident Metals, or APMEX.

Both bst's have become for all intensive purposes, print ads for coin vault and HSN...
Let's keep the BST thread clean of commentary.
