    Was that coin in a fire to get those wild colors? It would make a good pocket piece. It might look somewhat normal if you carried it long enough. :D

    Grading is not an exact science but the chemicals on that coin could be

    I think baking soda would restore it to an original appearance.
    If not, then sandblasting could make it a proof. >:)

    It would be a great idea to start an 'ebay crap of the week' thread.... and just see what garbage and deception is encountered each week....     Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    It's just sick. It needs a better coin doctor than it's been seeing.
