Have you received any 2017 coins in change yet?

I just received my first 2017 coin in change ... a 2017-D cent ... at my local supermarket. I know others started seeing 2017 coins in circulation about a month ago. How have you fared? Has anyone received anything other than cents?

    Nope! Not yet. I'm hoping more to find an 1917 Coin. Preferably, a 1917D Ob. Walker! LOL

    Yes from where my wife keeps her change. Everytime she grips me out about something I just take a quarter and some lesser coins from her change box, a disorganized mess then throw it in my change box in my car to use for dollar menu at drive thrus. I build up quite a collection.....

    I'm trying to remember the last time I used cash. It definitely wasn't in 2017. When does the mint release new coinage? After the first?

    Received a 2017-P cent on two separate occasions on Feb. 10. That's earlier than I usually see one.

    I have been looking for the P cents... none so far... Snowing heavy here today, so probably not going out. Next time will check with the cashier(s)...they will pull coins for me... Cheers, RickO

    Received a 2017 cent on Jan 17th at the local hardware store-earliest in the year that I can remember and I've been checking for 50 years.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    WE usually get the new coins fairly early around these parts (D mint usually) but I haven't seen any yet.

    I rarely use cash, so I rarely get change. So my answer is no.

    Not yet, and living on the west coast, it will be the "D"s.
    I just wish it was more possible to get a couple rolls of the 2017 P (with the mintmark on the obverse) reasonably :(

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    I bought two rolls of quarters and got a dozen-ish of the 2017-D Effigy Mounds quarters.

    ...far from my favorite National Park design, but still an enjoyable find.

    I still call my accumulation my collection!

    Apparently I was the first to report the 2017-P cent last month. I though that seemed soon.
    Still haven't seen a Denver mint cent yet.

    Nothing yet. I actually have gotten a 2017 item from the Mint (2017-S unc. Effigy Mounds) before I have found anything in change.

    One of them had this. I suspect it's PMD. I hope it's not some rare discovery coin, because if it is, it's now mixed in with thousands of other coins in a 5 gallon water jug.

    In Columbus, Ohio nothing yet for me. I got a bunch of newer looking cents in change the other day at the supermarket and they were 2016. I was sure they were 2017s because they looked to be right off the press.
    This is about when I've seen them in the past. (early March)

    So far I have picked up a bunch of nickels and P cents. traded a dollar for 2 bank rolls of 17 p's at a Sheets station in Meyersdale Pa. Meyersdale is a very small town in the hills of SW Pa. Last place i would have expected to find new coins. The nickels were in Wheeling, WV

    Yesterday--2017-D quarter, with Iowa's Effigy Mounds.

    Living in Denver, I usually get this stuff pretty quickly but this year has been slower.

    GSAs, OBW rolls, Seated, Walkers. Anything old and Colorado-focused, CO nationals.



    Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.

    I received my first 2017 dime two days ago... in change at the food court in the mall. So all I have left now is a 2017 nickel. Since no one gets dollar coins in change.

    I got a 2017-D cent in change today. I was hoping it would be a 2017-P with the mint mark. I suppose I might have to wait for my annual Proof set for that. ;)

    I don't handle that many coins any more and don't look that often, so I might have gotten something earlier that I did not notice.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
