I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

The stars seem to be based on the points in your profile. I think mine went from 3 stars to 4 stars once I got 500 points. @ricko is the only one I've seen with 5 stars, so I would guess that happens at 1000 points.

It seems you get points when people like or agree with your posts, not when you make posts. Might get points for other stuff too, but I really haven't figured it all out :) Doesn't matter too much to me either, I just come here for fun and to learn stuff :)

I believe this is correct. Expanding on this slightly, it appears the scale is:
    * = 0 - 49 points
    ** = 50 - 99
    *** = 100 - 499
    **** = 500 - 999
    ***** = 1000 +

If you add of all of rickos likes, dislikes etc you get 1917. 100 more than his point total. Fwiw

I believe you only get points for positive things, likely get lowered by the amount of disagree and spam clicks. Then we don't know how many points you get for each badge you earn. I think we should start a research project and get the gov mint to give us millions to research how it is possible that Ricko has 1817 points. :D

Who cares. The whole thing. I'm computerized out. Could not care less.

That we, collectively care about a result derived from the data collected, causes questions, WGAF?

Unfortunately I can't give you both a Like and an LOL to add to your point total. I totally agree, and my comment was totally in jest. But thanks for quoting me because I will probably get a new badge soon because of it.
Now back to twitter and instagram to send out pictures of my breakfast, and let people know when I plan to brush my teeth and clip my toe nails.

    I wanna be a cowboy.....................

I've heard that CU outside their corporate office in Santa Ana, California, has a place whereby the best posters have their hand print and foot print in cement along a walkway, but i haven't confirmed that.

Jeopardy rules, you didn't put your original post in the form of a question ;)

  • Insider2Insider2 Posts: 14,452 ✭✭✭✭✭

So post a question and then (whenever I wish) the option to post "answered" will pop up - right? Thanks

You can only get an "answered" by posting to a thread that is posted as "ask a question".

If your post answered what the OP wanted to know, they can click "answered" by your name and you get credit for answering.

Conversely, If you click "ask a question" then post your question, you can review the answers and click the "answered" to the post that helped you.

The person gets a "first answer" badge.
