A couple of weeks ago, I had a good customer and friend of mine give me a really cool gift for Christmas. Unknown to me, he had been collecting up various holed coins for awhile and knowing that I was into sample slabs he had some custom sample slabs made up by ANACS for me!
I think they came out pretty neat and they are definitely fun. All of them that were made up hold different coins or tokens and they are all very cool. Thought they would be fun to show off here and fun to give one away as well.
The sample slab I am giving away here will be similar to those imaged above, but will have a holed 1856 Three Cent Silver inside. I know that not everyone may not want this, so to be officially in the drawing, you must reply to this thread by saying "I'm in!" somewhere in your reply. Will give everyone a week to enter and will announce the winner next Sunday (1/22) evening.

Very cool, I was just thinking of this and how PCGS can make a lot of money. Just guess if your name was on the holder something like this "Graded by: Joe Blow " how many would go back in for a new label or grading if you sold or bought a holder with some one else's name just so you can have your name on it.. That was very nice of them and cool.

ANACS has a great approach to helping customers, in particular with specialty slabs like this. I have asked ANACS in the past to create special slabs for classes I have taught and they have been very gracious.
