He's designed and struck many beautiful items for us with it.
What a passion and labor of love.

The Centennial Morgan and the Centennial Peace 2oz 0.999 rounds are listed as "out of stock" when I checked today.
(as are the Buffalo OSs and the Clark Gruber octagonal and round issues)
Mintage of the Centennial Morgan listed as 73, and of the Peace Centennial as 151.
Beautiful! I'm happy that I purchased the ones that I did (2x Peace Centennial and 1x Morgan Centennial).
There was a pause in availability while I caught up on production and shipping of various products.
They are now available again but only for another month or so, and then that will be the end of those.
I am planning a similar piece with the theme being the centennial of the first (1921-D) Denver Mint silver dollars.
I happened to be in Denver when the Coin Expo was happening and dropped by D. Carr's booth and saw these new ones so......! Was lucky enough to get a low serial number since they are going to be a limited production.....LOL
The coin is absolutely beautiful with light ghosting around the Eagle and a slight DDO on Liberties face. Ignore the flip, it has some scuff marks on it, the coin is absolutely perfect except for the DDO and the ghosting and the picture was taken with my phone. Love it! the coin was so new, it was still warm from the press!......

Having been raised with Horses and having ridden them in various states of undress, i.e. shorts, tee shirts, etc, You would have to be a saint to ride that horse in the altogether like that. Just try riding for an extended period in just Tennis shoes and you'll crawl off almost crippled from raw ankles, let alone riding with one cheek on each side of that Horses backbone with all your ancillary attachments hanging out, Makes me cringe to even think about it!........
To be actual California Gold, San Francisco coins may need to be used. I'm not sure what's more important, to be symbolic and use a Philadelphia coin without a mint mark but with non-CA gold, or use a San Fran coin with actual California gold but with a S mint mark?
Any guesses on final mintages?
I wonder if Dan will do any circulated versions like the 1805 Dollars?
Not a new release, but new to me. I am walking on air with this new piece, as I have been wanting one since the first time I saw @Bullsitter post his. A big thank you to @LukeMarshall for selling this white whale token to me. I’m gonna enjoy it for a bit before sending it to ANACS.

Love the 2018 medals! They're my favorite KOTCT medals for many reasons.
-- Nice variety in the complete set.
-- The 2018 medals use Benedetto Pistrucci's original "broken SPEAR" design.
Whereas, British gold Sovereigns and silver Crowns always use the "SWORD-in-hand" design.
(I found one exception: the 2017 Sovereign 200th anniversary Proof.)
-- 2018 was the 200th anniversary... long-story-short, the 1818 British Crown was the first silver coin to use the St George and the Dragon design.
-- Cool-looking cartwheel luster, which I didn't expect on the color-toned cob.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmqEY58appo
-- After I researched and learned about Pistrucci's original sketch, I was the one who suggested using the "broken spear" design. So of course it's my favorite.

Were there any 2020 KOTCT Medals?
Not so far. Hoping for 2021.
I reached out to the coin club to see if they had any leftovers. They limited me to one of each strike, plus two cud strikes.
Not sure if they have any leftovers. I do know that the silver I got was #25 from the sequence #0 to #25 . . . . .
Of course I did request the highest number still available.
