Since your joining the CU board, what story has been the most relavant.

For me, since I have only resided here a short time, it is the discovery of the 1919 dime doubling. After so many years of slumber this discovery came to light. But since I am biased toward errors and Mercury dimes this was an easy selection. What were yours and why? And what do you think the impact, if any, did your choice make on the hobby/business as a whole?

As far as my collecting interest, I really like the bust quarter mega thread that Billet7 put together.
Bust Quarter Mega Thread
Followed by the Bongo Bongo thread. I printed off 4 pages before it was bammed. There around somewhere.
Enjoyed numismatic conversations with Eric P. Newman, Dave Akers, Jules Reiver, David Davis, Russ Logan, John McCloskey, Kirk Gorman, W. David Perkins...

The one about installing a bathroom exhaust fan.
Couldn't see through the tears of laughter.
Recently Acquired Coin Collection - the Return
Second, was Bongo Bongo. Very funny.
Third, I miss bear. He was a kind soul.

I wasn't around when it was a live thread, but I couldn't stop reading Darth5oh's thread revealing his recently inherited collection.

This was the first thing I thought of when I read the OP's question. If you want to stick to a stricter definition of "relevant," I would recommend the many threads following the legal battle over the Swift 1933 $20 gold coins.

I still remember Fred Weinberg posting that he accidently threw away a $4 gold Stella. It's now in a landfill somewhere.
This. I still picture the events in my mind at random times.

Far and away the 3 Mega Barber Threads.
Followed by the Bongo Bongo thread. I printed off 4 pages before it was bammed. There around somewhere.
Thanks, Dogwood.
Obviously, the Barber Mega Threads have meant a lot to me.
There would've been only one Super Mega Thread if not for
our host's website not being able to handle the volume.
Since I started the third ( and hopefully, final ) Thread
things have gone very smoothly.
I also had a few chuckles over the Bongo Bongo adventures.

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !
New Barber Purchases
I also remember a thread about a guy who was buying problem ANACS coins on eBay, cracking them out, and selling them raw as problem-free. It turned out he was doing the same thing on my site, and we gave him the boot. Apparently he made a bunch of posts about me, my site, and other individuals and the mods deleted them before I could read what he said.
Wow, I didn't realize my Stella Story
has such Long Legs on the chatroom !
So Fred, I have a question........would that Stella be in the SFV landfill or the Simi Valley
landfill as I'm in-between both of them ?? in Chatsworth

"Seu cabra da peste,

does anyone else remember the thread from a member who was asking how to get water out of a holder?? he was taking a bath and looking at coins, dropped some in the water. you can't make this stuff up!!!
Dang! I can't get that picture out of my head. That is too funny.
