Yes, the Patriots have won all those Super Bowls and playoff games in spite of that coattail rider Brady. If only they had a QB with a better passing rating, they'd have won 10 Super Bowls instead of 4.

Cowboys should have beaten the Packers, as they were the better team that didn't get it done. Putrid Packers defense finally caught up to them; injuries weren't the reason they lost yesterday. I still think this is the 2nd most entertaining game leading into it - as Dallas / NE would have been greater hype. That said, this will be a good match-up. I will go with NE and their experience, coaching/preparation and defense to outshine Atlanta.
ATL has the 25th defense in yards and 27th in points allowed. SB Champions don't normally have a defense ranked this low.

That defense I watched yesterday was A LOT better than those numbers exhibit. I think the Falcons have the potential to win this game. The teams that have had success against the Pats and Brady defensively in the past (Giants, Broncos) have been able to generate pressure with a 4 man rush. Atlanta can do that.
I also expect Belicheck to come up with a defensive game plan to significantly reduce Atlanta's scoring at will. I think it will be a great game. I'd be shocked if it is a blowout either way.
I think that if Atlanta or New England had a defense comparable to Denver's in the 2016 Superbowl or to Seattle's in the 2014 Superbowl, whichever team had such a defense would probably win the 2017 Superbowl.

Then the Patriots are your Huckleberry.
Denvers 2016 Super Bowl team gave up 296 points in the regular season
Seattles 2014 Super Bowl team gave up 231 points in the regular season
This season New England had the number 1 scoring defense in the the NFL. They gave up 250 points....................They scored 441 points.

Would never have believed a 21-3 lead by Atlanta at half time. Of course it's not over with the hoodie miester and Brady.
Hoodie is as good as Tom Landry used to be at making half time adjustments.
Second half should be something!
Me neither but they got their butts kicked in the first half. The Pat's were tentative and the Falcons were flying all over the place. Arghhh

Brady looks sort of confused and angry. in the past he has displayed the ability to turn those negatives into victory, probably not today.
the cameras have showed Gronk on the sidelines a few times, I hope fans don't whine about that after the game and use it as an excuse.
Gronk not playing has nothing to do with this. Sometimes you get the bull and sometimes you get the horns.

Any lingering, last doubt about Brady being the best of all time was eviscerated tonight. This comeback reminded me of Montana's comeback vs the Bengals years ago. Simply incredible. The greatest QB and the best coach of all time, without a doubt.

GREATEST GAME EVER !!!
Brady and the team were incredible, down 28-3 and fought back for the win.
I LOVED the boos for Goodel, which turned into instant cheers for Kraft. Brady shows his class with the handshake of the devil incarnate.
Gonna have a lot of friends and neighbors here in Atlanta that'll be big time down. But, credit the Falcons, they had a great season and sure put up the points...second half, not so much.
What a thriller huh Paul? Surely you heard me screaming from here!!

I'm stressing about this game
In the playoffs wins are the only stat that matters.
Of course. Just that Brady is not the reason.

When Tomlin tripped that guy on the sideline did he get credited with a tackle?
Don't care.
Outstanding game!!! Back to the Super Bowl!!!!
Should be a good game.

I don't believe I have ever seen anybody make Brady look so bad. Of course the fumble wasn't his fault.
