Have started adding notes to a few of the coins if the variety or grade is notable, etc. It's a work in progress and will go through some of the old threads one of these days for that purpose (the next time I have insomnia....).
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose.
The truth is that I have made my own spreadsheet and noticed that the number of doily holders here and the spreadsheet I have had a noticeable amount difference. I made a list of the items here and then went to the websites I got my sources from so I could bring everyone up to a closer up to date list.

Quiz time, anyone know the two different versions of the original doilies?
In fact I recall Lakesamman has a third variation of the original doily.
Quiz answers :
1. Original
2. Retro (white stripe like original)
3. Retro Retro (no white stripe, different font and darker green doily pattern)
4. Original with hand cut label, no white stripe.
5. Original but without pcgs at top of label.
6. Original with bar code low and cert nos. shifted to left in relation to bar code.
7. Original with bar code higher and cert nos. are aligned with bar code.
1931-S Buff was mine . . . consigned a bit ago. Nice to see it has done fairly well. It has a good look.
Not dumping . . . . . . just focusing more on better Doily Type and keeping my best examples . . . looks like the days of my attempts to corner the market on Doilies is far over !!! Some of my nicer duplicates are out there. No one needs 9 1884-O Morgies in MS64 . . . . . . . . .

Actually #4 original with hand cut label no white stripes is a sample label only and I do not consider it one of the original production doilies. But you are otherwise right, there are at least 4 varieties of the originals.

Bought this a couple of months ago, it is on the list but not denoted as a proof.
