Jim, those are awesome! I never liked autographed copies of cards that also have a facsimile auto. So it's really cool that heritage did 54 and 56 Topps reprints with only the authentic auto. They look great!

Can someone help me out with a few questions. I was in walmart today and seen they sell 3 types of topps heritage. The have a rack pack for 5.00 bucks. They also have a box hanging that is 10 bucks and a 72 count box that is 19.98. So my question is which of these is best to find hits in? Do they put hits in all them? I dont collect cards but figure buying a pack is like buying a lotto ticket so why not try. Any advise you can provide I am thankful for. Looking at this topic got me to keep my eye open. Would love to get some autos.

Even though they are listed on beckett.com, I have given up on the existence of 62 & 66. Since he was a high # that year, I'm fairly certain topps was too cheap to buy those back.

Hey guys, I sort of gave up this year. My run of unopened 2010-2015 Heritage cases has come to an end. Guess I'm just getting tired. The thrill with Heritage is gone. Since the 1968 set is my favorite, I hope I'll be back next year. It just seems Topps has cut and pinched, and reduced and left out so much over the years, I am gonna take a break from the set that was a great conception back in the day. Has anyone pulled any SSP (Traded, Throwback, Woodgrain Glossy or Errors) from retail? I just pulled a JOE Votto SSP variation from a Target blaster box. Only asking because it has been forever since I have pulled a variation SSP from retail.

I swore I'd be done with Heritage after 2014 (1965 was my last "favorite" vintage Topps design)...
Alas, I spent the weekend in Chicago at the Fanatics Authentics show and got sucked back in! I bought 4 boxes for $65 per and spent another $65 on SP needs at $2.50 per, and did a little trading with my buddy who ripped 6 boxes. He hit big on his boxes, whereas I did not. In his 6, he pulled a Goldschmidt Gold /5, Nolan Ryan/Matt Harvey Real Ones Dual Autograph and a Nolan Ryan red ink autograph... AND one card I'm hoping someone here can help figure out...
I haven't found an SP/Variation checklist mention it yet. The card was in the spot in the pack that an Insert/SP/Variation should be. It's not a gum stain. It's an Ian Kennedy with a slightly lighter green tone and a glossy back!!! Anyone seen this, or one like it???
What little I have left of tradable value is currently on eBay under the ID 2000Explorer. I'm also willing to pay $2.50 an SP, with the exception of Correa, for which I'd pay $5. Here is what I need to finish my set:

Your best bet is the $20 box, called a "blaster." I ripped 2 and did very well.
I agree. They seem to be the best bet. Three boxes are equivalent to a standard box (hobby), and the distribution of inserts appear similar.

Alas, I spent the weekend in Chicago at the Fanatics Authentics show and got sucked back in! I bought 4 boxes for $65 per and spent another $65 on SP needs at $2.50 per, and did a little trading with my buddy who ripped 6 boxes. He hit big on his boxes, whereas I did not. In his 6, he pulled a Goldschmidt Gold /5, Nolan Ryan/Matt Harvey Real Ones Dual Autograph and a Nolan Ryan red ink autograph... AND one card I'm hoping someone here can help figure out...
I haven't found an SP/Variation checklist mention it yet. The card was in the spot in the pack that an Insert/SP/Variation should be. It's not a gum stain. It's an Ian Kennedy with a slightly lighter green tone and a glossy back!!! Anyone seen this, or one like it???
What little I have left of tradable value is currently on eBay under the ID 2000Explorer. I'm also willing to pay $2.50 an SP, with the exception of Correa, for which I'd pay $5. Here is what I need to finish my set:
