Another new arrival. Extremely difficult to find this card centered this well. I have been strictly a pre-war guy the past dozen years or so, but I'm having a blast finding these mid grade gems. Much easier on the pocket book as well.
That Williams is my kind of card. Low/mid grade with amazing centering and awesome eye appeal for the grade. ENJOY IT.
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I realize this board enjoys vintage cardboard, as do I, but I had to have this shiny pair with my beloved Cubs doing so well this post-season. If they get to and win the World Series, it will be sheer pandemonium in Chicago.
Will this card be part of the PSA "Mount Rushmore" of basketball?
Nice Work. I have to think so. It includes the 2-for-1 RC with the bonus of Dr. J...whose RC may miss out on the Rushmore.
I agree this card will be on the Rushmore and I also agree that Dr. J's 1972 narrowly misses the cut. I can't wait to see what people choose for BK Rushmore. There are going to be some tough omissions.
just a lil tape sized paperloss on the front that keeps her in the 1 holder. but i'm sure someone displayed her proudly. pretty happy with her overall though!
Things have been fairly slow for me as I've been recalibrating my focuses. My unopened goals have been updated as I've been able to complete a lot of things on my want list. My next project is clean, PSA8 packs from the 1970s. After searching for a few weeks, found this nice 1974 pack in PSA8.
There have also been some fabulous pickups this month! Keep up the great work everyone!
Stingray - it looks like you are assembling a super high end '81 set. Loved that set growing up.
Darin - The Ozzie and Brett are truly deserving of the grade. Stingray may call you about the Brett for his set.
Begsu - Your Mantle auto collection is spectacular. A '56 with incredible eye appeal with a minor issue like paper loss is a perfect card for an auto. Well done.
Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.

I believe it is to indicate that it the card is way above your typical PSA 9 for the grade but not good enough for a PSA 10. Not all PSA 9's look the same. I would have to agree that the 72 Willie is a high-end PSA 9.
For sentimental reasons this is now one of the favorites of my entire collection. This HOF rookie card may not be huge dollar wise or in popularity but had to have it.

Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all.
That is a great Fisk! That card has been on my radar for a while. I completely agree that centering is a major issue with this card, especially T/B. Well done and enjoy.

True-Score Baseball Game - Gardner & Co., Chicago - 1954
The game is in nice condition - the spinner still works well - for the game outcomes - and I like the game board.
It has "slides" to keep track of the runners on base, scores, runs etc.
The game is approximately 12x12" - a nice size to carry off to a friend's house on a rainy Saturday afternoon of Yoo-Hoo and baseball.
Can't wait to get an inventory of all my games - have no idea how many I have right now; keeping in mind that 100 games is like having thousands of graded cards in space taken up!

<< <i>Have always wanted this card - sharp corners - I missed what appears to be a scratch in the holder - hasn't come in yet. >>
Very nice! That is probably the most modern pickup I've seen you show, other than some RC bricks from the early 90s.
ToneD: love the Ted. Mid-grade, high eye appeal are my favorites.

Sweet Jordan card Mike. Congrats.
ToneD that Williams card looks incredible for the grade. Nice score.

Just might be Kyle. Last year I did pick up some nice Griffey RCs tho.
My #2 Ranked Michael Jordan PSA Basic Set
Bryant and Schwarber can be two special players for years to come. It will be fun watching them grow. Nice cards for sure.
<< <i>A few more pick ups.
1885 Harpers Weekly Woodcut Engravings. Some people collect the full paper ,and other just collect the photos. A cool and unique oddball item.
I found this lot interesting due to the Arthur Irwin and Dude Esterbrook being included. Two players with very odd past. >>
I'm digging those, that is a fine set of staches. Wes Welker would be proud.

Happy BTTF day!
glad someone got it!
Glad to see someone else appreciates it! I planned to make the post and then saw that you sort of beat me to it w/ the BTTF cards
