This month, I did get one item I wanted very much: a really nice copy of the 1964 Christie/Manson/Woods sale of the Major the Lord St. Oswald coins. I bought this from PreTurb (Bryce Brown). For early federal coin (particularly early copper) collectors, this is a famous sale, and the catalog is hard to find in collectible condition and unusually expensive for a post-1945 auction catalog.
For 2015, I really would like a nice 1857 Flying Eagle cent with $20 clash marks and an 1783 Washington-Franklin [Sansom] medal, but I doubt I will find either.

<< <i>Win one particular Heritage FUN auction lot that I'm leading as I write this. >>
That's my goal, too.

Hoard the keys.
1869-p $10 in VF35 or better
I will buy/own a lot more coins than the above in 2015 but those 2 (in themselves) would complete my year.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Goal #2 is to work on my PCGS Everyman Registry sets. I need to upgrade lots of slots.
Goal #3 is to replace many of my NGC Classic Commemoratives with PCGS examples, so I can improve my PCGS Classic Commemorative Registry sets.
Chris' Complete Lincoln Variety Set 1909-date
1. Rediscover my coin mojo
2. Sell those stupid Canadian gold coins (1913 and 1914 $10)
3. Have a beer at a coin show with Lakesammmmmmmmmannnnnn
4. Stop the bleeding
My long term goals are much clearer, and I remain in dogged pursuit.
Doggedly collecting coins of the Central American Republic.
Visit the Society of US Pattern Collectors at USPatterns.com.
To many bearish coin views I'm hearing making me coindepressed.
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
2. Save up money (by following goal #1) and be ready to buy when the exact right coin comes along
Add a couple Top 100 Morgans. Maybe an 88-O Hot Lips, 01-P Shifted Eagle, or even a 7/8 TF.

I'm working towards a few upgrades on my completed sets & fleshing out a US design set. Eventually I see myself moving toward buying really cool random coins when the opportunity arises. Set building is overrated anyhow.

Yes, but what a great purchase. Your box of twenty is a great stroll thru American coinage. You should be proud.
I'm taking a break in in 2015, so that I may acquire an automobile that I want. I'm a gearhead first, a coin nerd second.
2)Add another nice piece of early gold
3)Continue to make contacts that bear coins in Europe
Latin American Collection
1. I have to work harder (more $$) to make it possible to expand my collection.
2. Stay focused on my IHC proof date set
3. Still open to a 16-D Merc and a 16 SLQ, but can live without them, for now.
4. A few gold type coins in common dates but with high grade would be a new distraction.
With all of the great collections up for auction we all have great opportunities that may change our collections.

as you might think, even with common 20th century designs.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I keep looking at the core of my collection, 387 capped bust coins (half dimes through half dollars, mostly half dollars - 204).
I don't know if I want to keep pursuing these coins in the various die marriages or clean house and build a set of bust coins with one of each date that is the best (that I can afford) in each date.
I know the likelihood of getting anywhere near done with an Overton set is slim if at all, but I still keep trying.
Part of me wants to do the latter, I think that would be a great looking set, but I am absolutely smitten with bust coins and have a hard time passing any of them by when I see a nice one.
So, in short, I don't know that I have a 2015 goal yet, I may just continue cruising along the way I am.

2) renew my efforts to document and expand the DIVa catalogue
3) Begin work on developing an independent online DIVa registry, including population report and various DIVa registry set compositions
4) enhance some of my Ike Showcase sets
5) finish my Uncle's circulated IHC set
6) pick up some classic gold pieces in PCGS holders

I keep looking for upgrades to my Jefferson set, but it's pretty good already, to the point where improving on it actually costs real money, and a big part of the concept of this set was to select awesome coins that don't cost much. I'll buy certain early Jefferson proofs at market prices if I see highly attractive ones.
The expanded type set needs a gold $3. Maybe this will be the year.
Add a missing relatively common barber qtr.
Pick up any type coin that catches my eye.
What a great hobby.

It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got.
I'm going to see if i can do $250,000 in picks this coming year starting with a $1000 budget per mo.
Well... how did you do?
Kept the modest circulated IHC that I started and sold off everything to start over.
Picked a great VAM to start Box of Twenty of Something yet to be titled.
