Some crazy prices. 1000 for the Ashe card was a shocker. Many shockers actually. Anyone here get anything?

I wish. I had a lot of them set to snipe but lost on each of them despite pretty competitive bids. Congrats!

Was the SGC Eusebio one of yours?

No .. pretty much just what was in this thread. Biggest shockers to me other than the overall price of the soccer cards were the Ashe Went for 1k, Gracie went for 500 (I was figuring 25 for this), Gary gait went for 150 .. wasn’t even sure that would sell. No real disappointments. I did think the Federer Stadion would have gone for more, but I really can’t complain

Unfortunately I went down for the count early in the Clay Lampo auction, but it was an awesome auction!

I had no idea that the Royce Gracie was a $500 card......great to see where the prices were landing on these cards.

Thanks for all the great info in this thread. Just starting to collect tennis, olympian and golf HOF rookies and key cards. Working backwards and am into the 1980s.... would love to connect with anyone that has Sportscasters or much earlier that you might want to sell or trade.

As a new collector I recently picked up some cards that were not in the PSA registry for some Golf and Olympians. Getting them added to the PSA registry is a new thing for me and I'm excited to share 3 updates that were made!

The World Golf Hall of Fame has been updated to count 1927 W.A. & A.C. CHURCHMAN FAMOUS GOLFERS-SMALL 47 as a HARRY VARDON Card.

The U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame has been updated to count 1964 DISGRA ATLETAS TOKIO 92 ROBERT HAYES as a BOB HAYES Card.

The U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame has been updated to count COLLEZIONI LAMPO I GRANDI CAMPIONI 139 DON SCHOLLANDER as a DON SCHOLLANDER card.

Hope this helps others out there too! And I was happy this process only took 18 hours.

I finally got around to scanning all of these. I'm working on the major sports now and the Star Jordan thread has really got me tempted to pull the trigger on that one. I started a Checklist Thread a few years ago about rookie cards from sports outside of the big 4. I started just looking for boxing but it grew into something completely ridiculous and includes cricket even Jai Lai. Well that's sort of a joke because a buddy asked if I had any Jai lai cards. Here are scans .. some might be cards you don't see every day. I Used ticket stubs for the horseracing because there were no cards from around the time horse actually raced. Your best bet is to cull together a few scans of graded examples of the specific cards you are looking for and look for the common traits. There is some variation allowance with any hand cut card but I would stick with where the ‘cuts’ are on already graded examples as a guide.

Muhammad Ali 1965 Lampo - has other earlier issues that are hand cut or over sized discussed HERE .. but this is my personal pick.

Joe Louis 1935 United Tobacco -- This set is from 1942.

Muhammad Ali 1965 Lampo - has other earlier issues that are hand cut or over sized discussed HERE .. but this is my personal pick -- Just an FYI, since everyone has their own personal Ali, he has a pack-issued card: 1964 Editorial Bruguera Los Diez Mandamientos (listed in the pop report as 1962 Po-Po Boxing Disc). As far as I know only one example has come to light though so it's not going to be a popular choice.

A lot of these cards have significantly jumped in value over the last year. Great collection.

Please don’t remind me lol. The soccer went completely bonkers so did tennis. ... and not posted here basketball... I actually think the 1981 hulk Hogan popy is priceless based on the 82 wrestling all stars prices and I don’t think a popy has sold since I foolishly sold mine last July

I had this pop today and the only one that has reached PSA DNA status
1 1 62579013 Item Grade: EXCELLENT 5 Auto Grade: GEM MT 10 1981 Kajiwara Productions Wrestling Hulk Hogan PSA/DNA Certified

That’s awesome... what is your guess this card would go for now unsigned? I really wish I held on to this and the kelly slater rookie and a few others that just never come up for sale

A raw popy set with the Hulk Hogan in PSA 7 sold for 10k and I think i would go up to 4k on the what you sold so that should tell you a little something.

    BUYING Frank Gotch T229 Kopec
Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable
