I could go for a really nice 66BR or RB but first I have to rundown 4 other MPL first. I have a bad habit of leaving the priciest one for last.
Tramp, that's a nice start to your set. I really like the '11 and '16. Once you behold a nicely toned MPL, you're hooked forever. Keep us posted on progress.
I got lucky and bought the VDB 30 years ago as my 3rd purchase for the set (which I have since completed). As TDN is aware, it's a 65RB in an old fattie holder with a CAC. As much as I'm a big PCGS registry fan, I can't give up the rare combination of old holder and rare coin.

Still would buy a PR65RB in a rattler holder
Heck, it's only been about a decade, right?

What is a decade or so among friends.
I did enjoy reading the thread again after all these years.
RIP Steve - He would be happy to know that the Hoard has NOT lowered 1909 VDB MPL values.

Still waiting
I'm looking for a nice PR65RB in any PCGS holder. Gotta be a decent coin for the grade and priced at todays values.
