A marketing idea for the gold Kennedy

The Jacqueline Kennedy gold coin comes out next year, add that to the new gold Kennedy half dollar and you have both in gold. Might be a good seller, only for those that could afford more than $2500 though.

I'd rather have a George Washington and Martha Washington combo than any other.

A) How RYK has been spending his new found time during his numismatic sabbatical... Binge reading the Hunger Games Trilogy in eager anticipation of the final movie installment.

The dream one has at the ANA show subliminally influenced by watching the Hunger Games in the hotel room that night and during the police involvement with the line outside hotel.

C) A legitimate marketing campaign which we should expect to see promoted in conjunction with the final film release. Kevin Lipton presents, a Silvertowne production, the Hunger Games 3.

Me, I'll always be thankful for his steady and cool leadership on the brink of a nuclear holocaust with the Soviet Union.
But I guess since I wasn't around in October 1962, it shouldn't really matter to me either.
I passed on the coin, but certainly not for the reasons above.

Kennedy should be admired, even to those who were not around in the early 60's. It came down to 5 minutes and it would have been all out nuclear war. Russia was at that time at the top of their Nuclear game. I was 5 years old and I still remember it today, scared to death. Missiles aimed and Locked on every major city in the United States..Everyone knew what the outcome would be! Those of you who were not here in the 60's you would not be sitting here today either!

I am already predicting hype for the Kennedy spouse, but hot it will be not.




That said, I lied in another thread about me wanting to up my 70's from only one to only two. It wasn't to be a gift. I had this idea, too. One will be in a dual holder. I was afraid of adding to the rush if I said this was a good idea.


But a dual holder won't be any hotter than this gold kennedy.
