So that is why your package hasn't arrived yet. You guys need to pay more timely if I'm going to take the time to stake out your mailboxes. >>
LOL - I know you're kidding (commute reasons of course), but I told Tim I might get called out for my pace after the public blast on the wax tray thread. I left the wax tray, minis, extras and the group rip all for one box. So I had to ask for a shipping total and Steve took about 4 business hours to get back to me on that. When you combine that with the fact that I procrastinate in general, I don't see how this is my fault. >>
4 business hours!! Slacker!! LOL! >>
I can stake out Tim's place though...thanks Darren!!! >>
Don't forget to bring some cold drinks and a 75 rack to rip, will ya?! >>
I guess I shouldn't post it if I'm going to stake your place out, huh. Good thing I have a day job.

Wait a minute, I thought you were going to Schererville, IN to pick up all our orders and deliver them personally? You were the only one that we could all trust since we knew that you wouldn't rip any of them!

Why didn't I think of this?

I'll called BBCE several times today without speaking to a live person. Pls hold my 78' Cello until I can call on Saturday--working in a dead cell zone the next two days. I will pay on Saturday.
Is there going to be a separate thread for the rips? I called first thing Monday and paid and the guy said it would ship this week so we should start receiving these soon.
<< <i>I vote that the first one to receive starts the rip thread. I was told the same thing about shipping this week....but has anyone received anything? >>
This doesn't bode well for me as I live in Iowa and I usually get their shipments fairly fast. Thankfully, I had an add-on which may delay my shipment

I might be the guinea pig when it comes to ripping. I think I was the first to post that I paid, and I am in IL. Got a message from Steve yesterday confirming paying. I'm definitely ripping my 86 FB and 93 SP. Still debating on the 70s stuff. But I know I have no will power.
Will give them a call tomorrow. Thanks again, Mark.

Received my package today. Grabbed some extra 83 Fleer and 84 Donruss. I'll probably be ripping a few packs of each. Wanna save one pack of everything to display next to my boxes of unopened. As a Milwaukee guy, it was great to get my 84 rack with a Yount All Star card showing!
I got my package today. The best cards I got were 1983 Fleer Wade Boggs centered about 70/30, Cal Ripken and Reggie Jackson both centered about 60/40. There was nothing worth mentioning in the other packs. James
Thought I'd upload a picture. My dad will be ripping his, I think. The 93 sp, 89 upper deck, and 84 donruss. The other stuff, will stay sealed.....for now. I did add on a 84 fleer box to add to the collection as well!
Got mine yesterday and opened them all. Not great results but it was fun. Corners and edges were great on nearly all the cards.
2 81 topps cellos and two wax packs - nice george brett with a fisheye, royals sweep Yankees card with brett on it that's 75L 25R oc. Got a Winfield with nice corners but with everything else wrong with it.
2 82 topps bb wax packs - sharp dale murphy and gossage AS. Giants rookie with chili Davis that is close to perfect except lots of black snow all over bob brenly.
2 83 topps bb wax packs - the only card I got that I even knew was jim kern. All the cards were in great shape though.
2 82 topps FB wax packs - I got a psa 10 dick bupkis from these packs.
All in all, not worth figuring out how to post pics but it was lots of fun.
If anyone gets a nice 82 topps chet lemon 493 let me know.

Different group deal. The subject title on the other is bad enough. Let's let this rip be about this rip.
Thanks,
Ryan
