Gold down 2.5% today.

Is everyone really that disillusioned that the gold Kennedy production won't be limited?

28 day rally w/o any real hint of a correction had to get one sometime. A sharp dip was well over due.

Gapped up on fear, gapped down on resolution.

The average Joe should stay out of the metals markets. Very leveraged and prone to big moves.

This average Joe has a lot gold coins, but most of them are numismatic, and many are small.

Yup....market is up and all PM's are down. A flight from safety?image I agree a market correction is overdue, unless all the minor drops of less than 10% over the last several years, was a correction.

If BillJones is an Avg Joe, I am a Pauper Steve.

The sentence "This average Joe has a lot gold coins" is an oxymoron.

It is just oscillating in a range. 60 days ago it was 1300 or about 1 percent lower... no big move

Just tryin' to be funny. If I had brains, I'd be working on a date set $20 gold coins instead of gold dollars. But I don't. image

There are only 4 banks left that "fix" the price of gold at whatever price they want. They will continue to post fraudulant values, regaurdless of demand, until they are ready for the dollar to make its final death rattle. It will be bad news for all the fools that bought paper gold and silver, or the stock market, as all they will be getting back only worthless paper. The US dollar has very little time left as the US government and the Federal Reserve feel that they can just print enough money to buy/corrupt the world and everything in it. I dont think all the people of the world will tolerate this much longer. Thus the police state is being rolled out at high speed to control the masses who will be bankrupted/fleaced by "unforseen" circumstances.
