1849-O Gold Dollar
The 1849-O gold dollar is considered to be a "common date" in the series, but it took me a while to find one. As David Bowers says, it is common in a way, but it is much scarcer than the common date Philadelphia mint dates like 1852 and '53. This piece is graded MS-62, and it has some streaky surfaces from a less than perfect mixture of gold and copper.
