Is that available somewhere right now? Not an error collector, but a coin like that could easily give me an exception!

Very common (as far as off metal mint errors go) for cent planchets to end up in the dies of other denominations.

I agree. Just because it's a major mint error, does not mean that it's a backdoor job.
