Thanks go out to my Secret Santa Ron who sent me 4 high grade 1967 Topps I needed for my set including Mazeroski and Bob Gibson! Also, he sent me 4 high grade 1975 Topps that finish my 1975 set! And to boot, a 1969 Topps Deckle Edge that I needed.

    Thanks Santa!
Looking to trade for, or purchase, raw or graded vintage for my baseball sets: 1927 York Caramel, 1951 Bowman, 1957 Topps, 1967-1979.

Sorry I didn't get to post a little earlier, had some family health issues come up on Christmas Day. My SS hooked me up with a 1963 Norm Cash PSA 7 and a 1975 Willie Horton PSA 8 (both childhood heroes of mine). He also hooked me up with 1994 Select Series 2, 1989 Topps BB and 1989 Pro Set II FB box. I was really excited about a 1979 Topps FB pack, unfortunately the bottom corner of the pack was dinged. I was still able to pull some decent commons from the back of the pack. Thanks SS, I really enjoyed the presents!!! Looking forward to next years SS.

These must have been gag gifts, right? They all look like cards that might make it on a "Funniest Sports Cards" list.

I am thinking Jason gave my Secret Santa the wrong info on what I collected, but it's the thought that counts. The next two cards were:

Well, WTF??? Nothing that I mentioned, but I guess my Secret Santa figured that since we are on a PSA Board that ANY PSA cards would be a nice Christmas present. As I said, it's the thought that counts.

Oh, and the next two. Hockey? Did I even remotely mention ANYTHING about collecting hockey?

As a matter of fact they kind of were gag gifts. My SS "hid" a 1957 PSA 3 MICKEY MANTLE between those cards!!!

I must say, the Jim Leyland 1986 TT card makes me LOL. It looks like Topps airbrushed a top hat on his dome.

On a more serious note, this is a great thread. Nice work Secret Santa's. I am going to participate next year because it looks like a lot of fun.

I;ve done this for the past few years and this is by far the best thread of the year. My favorite SS memory is when my SS in 2010 (I believe) sent me a whole bunch of I Love NY Stuff -- without realizing I grew up in that area and that meant more to me than the great selection of cards and packs he sent.

if you look closely on the 1986 Topps traded Jim Leyland, you will notice that you can see the top of his head through his ball cap. Can't say that about many MLB hats.

(sorry for the huge photos) I did not get a chance because i was on vacation and just got back the other day. But I wanted to thank my Secret Santa. I was really surprised and love my items!!
A 1984 Fleer box...and inside were a few items of interest. A 1981 Topps Rack pack and a 1985 Rack pack. Also, my hometown hero, a 1984 Donruss Tony Gwynn PSA Certified autograph!! Awesome!!

    image

Upon further inspection, flipping the pack of 1985 topps over is future HOF'er Roger Clemens rookie!!

    image

Then even further I flip the 1981 pack over and there it is. A Kirk Gibson rookie!! Whoah!! I love it!! This is actually my first 1981 rack pack and with a Gibson rookie to boot!!

    image

I am humbled...so thank you again!!
