Ok, how old does Sievers look in that photo? I was just talking about this with someone the other day - how people tend to age more gracefully nowadays due to a multitude of factors. But, hell, Sievers looks like he's 60 in that photo. A quick Wiki check shows that he was 38 when the photo was taken (if it is indeed from the '64 season).
Unfortunately, people are being duped into believing that card is one of the rare throwback variations. However, it's not. They are all like that. That seller should be ashamed because I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Ya, I only tried one group break in the past and got like 3 cards. I went for two rangers and one angels team this year. Got a bent corner Trout and a scratched 65 Angel buyback along with a few others. Not real happy, but did better than the first try. >>
I was considering a team break for a 1/2 case and a full case. After seeing the bids, I decided against it. The odds of pulling a high end team card seemed low, and I'd probably end up with a bunch of base cards for the money. In the end, I figured I'd make out better breaking a few hobby boxes, and trading/selling any high end cards for the team cards I want. Thanks for sharing your experience...

So it appears there will only be a small group trading this year and only a few folks got their cards. My case arrived last night, but I will not recieved my break boxes until Friday. I have bought all of the retail available at Wal-Mart. There is still nothing at Targets in South Texas. This has got to be one of the slowest starts we have had for Heritage. Still no killer red ink!

i finsihed my case last night - i will post full results later tonight once i sort the base and figure out all the variations i need. Highlights, 3 real one autos including Concepcion and Larsen 2 Black Crhome, Shelby Miller and Pitcher (i forget who) my last box ended up being the purple box - got a few nice hits their Cabrera Mini requisite clubhouse collections which i dont like - got 2 Seguras whos jersey patch has dirt, which is kinda cool, the rest are just base relic white patches - very disappointing
no throwback variations or logo variations as of now - a few action - i was hoping for a Mattingly auto to justify the case else i would have bought singles and sets - althought the Lasen is a cool auto.
You should have got a couple logo variations - check your shortprints for the number code on the bottom of the back. Had a couple almost slip by me because I had already sorted them as regular SPs

But then, in Box 6...
Pretty floored when I saw this one. What do you think are my chances of actually receiving a Mays red-ink auto in "12-15 weeks" after entering the redemption code? Haven't ruled-out selling it, but strongly leaning towards redeeming it myself (and keeping my fingers crossed).
Anybody in the northeast find ANY Heritage at any Target? I have been to 4 different stores and not a single trace, not even a stray pack to be found. I find it hard to believe that it takes that long to distribute to a huge chain like that. I will try 2 Walmarts either tonight or tomorrow, but I guess I will have to wait until a card show or buy a box online until then.

Andy, I would sell that Mays ASAP. Your chances of redemption in the near future are slim to none. Get in touch with board member josephcb09 and let him tell you about the Heritage Mays redemptions Topps has been stringing him along on for the past couple of years. He is waiting on redemptions from 2012 and 2013. Small chance your 2014 will be along anytime soon.
Andy, I just bought one of these. I have bought one of these redemptions for the past two years 2012 and 2013. I have received both cards signed, but they took about 8-10 months to receive. So if you can wait, its worth it.
I also had redemption for willie mccovey and it arrived in the 12 week window.
joe's waiting on a special redemption (not a standard real-one blue ink), and i don't know why but that must have special strings attached, maybe its a dual auto or something.
I just started doing my heritage for 2014. I noticed that card # 137 is issued to 2 cards. You guys probable already know this, but i just wanted to post something. By the way where is Walt??? Did he break bad?

Target has been the PS3 of heritage baseball cards...with retail rollout exclusivity going to Walmart for the retail jumbos. It's almost like topps is trying to stretch out the jumbo release first...get as many heritage hungry sales as possible and then roll out the blasters etc. good strategy from their standpoint as I don't see the jumbos producing as many high end cards as a blaster...my take of course.

Heritage sighting at a Target in Exton PA! Okay it was just single packs and jumbo packs that the guy had just unboxed but at least it is something.
What I have noticed is a bunch of the mark down blasters getting stocked heavier--saw A&G Blasters from 2011 and 2012, Chrome baseball from 2012, 2011 and 2012 bonus boxes (baseball and heritage hobby) all for $12.99
I don't know why the range. I sold my Harper "Pittsburth" last year for $200. Got this year 's "Pittsburth" (Andrew McCutchen) on eBay for $99. Will sell it to a board member here if they can use it for $89 delivered if it hasn't sold already on eBay. First PM gets it.

I'm amazed at the wide range of prices the error cards get... from $33 to $350 - why such a huge difference?
