Doesn't do any good to study after you take the test.

A good deal if they were Canadian silver dollars, go back and see if he will sell you more for their true value.

I would consider it a "learning experience via the school of hard knocks."

You paid for their numismatic value, not their BV ... that's how it sounds anyway

<< <i>I can't take good pictures of toned sorry, coins they look great though. I went back to the dealer and asked him if I paid the right amount and much to my surprise he said I over paid and offered a refund. I said no and instead just picked out 3 more nice toned Canadian dollars this time from the stack. Were all good and I will be giving more business to that coin store. >>
Cool

Huh? Grade always matters when money is involved, unless it's bullion. But as I mentioned before, it sounds like he paid for the numismatic value not the BV so a high grade would explain the dealer's high price.
