Great Molly absent the red ink bleed so common at the bottom of the card.

Adding to the OPC run today here's my Ozzie the lone member of the class of '02 if I remember correctly.

Yes, but you'd have to take the shrinkwrap off that box to show the Jackson pack. image

I was also hoping you might have that 55 cello with Clemente on top! LOL!

I don't doubt it's in the box, Craig~but we need to free that pack from underneath the cellophane wrap to give it proper recognition. image

This is awesome it's a first for me being accused of for favoring baseball over basketball but good point maybe I should be doing the basketball HOF selections for this century too. Anyway I've got a good one to add to the what's in the box controversy:

Congrats to Tim Raines along with Rodriquez and Bagwell for making the 2017 HOF class. I need to get working to keep up on this set again. Does anyone have a Biggio, Rodriquez, Bagwell, Piazza, or Pedro Martinez pack or rack showing rookie they'd like to sell??

Hi ChiefsFan - Yes I purchased that Dickerson rack from BBCE. That rack was on their site for a bit and I could not believe it was not getting scarfed up. Glad I got it and still have it.

Congrats to Ken Griffey Jr. on making the hall! Here's my favorite pack

I have an 89 Griffey Jr Feer cello currently running in an auction on eBay if anyone is interested .. also a 89 Donruss rack with a Mattingly showing.

Congrats on an amazing collection .
My favorite would probably have to be your Rickey Henderson pack :)

I used to have a bunch including the infamous Billy Ripken F*ck Face bat handle one on a few cellos
I may still have some buried away, but I kind of just toss things in tubs and forget about them , so I can open them like little treasure chests at a later date ;)

I think I have a Boggs 83 Topps rack as well, and I really should collect a few more of these. Neat way to collect rookies and it does nit break the bank.

I very much like your Henderson RC rack pack...the card is even centered!!!

If I recall (and correct me if I am wrong), but the Pedro Martinez rookie is part of the 1991 UD Final Edition only sold in complete set form, not in packs.

Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com

Pedro is actually in the 1991 Classic packs as his first appearance in a pack and they're decent to be able to see the cards showing on front and back.

I think I picked it up last spring or early summer. I also grabbed a Boggs rookie rack as well. Thinking of doing a rack with Gwynn, Clemens, McGwire, Sandberg, Ripken... some good players who won’t break the bank. Would love a Brett rookie rack but that might be a unicorn

did you see the chamberlain pack on goldin auctions?

  • tkerstingtkersting Posts: 136 ✭✭✭

The chamberlain pack is nice. Too bad it’s got a tear in the wrapper from the gum on the right side. I’m sure that wasn’t there when it was originally graded.

Yes I’m actually The high bidder on the pack, so let’s not advertise it too loud. On the negative side it’s definitely a 6 now with the gum tear, on the positive side a 6 is still the best pack out there with 2 graded in almost 60 years. That pack is in the top 5 ever to get!

Fantastic stuff here! But they look like they are all mech errors; someone accidentally put Molitor on the flip instead of Trammell ;)

(I grew up in the Detroit area and was always a big fan of Trammell in his playing days)
