I never believed these to be actual german nazi bars, looks like people are faking them. I'm telling you, only a matter of time or maybe JM and Engelhard old pours are already being faked.....not very hard to do I bet

The Germans have always produced things with great attention to quality and detail.
I do not own any Nazi bars and do not plan to. But the poor workmanship on that fake bar is such a red flag. These guys marched with precision and uniforms perfectly pressed and nothing ever out of order. And some folks believe the sloppy stamping and poor quality fonts on that bar resemble the real deal? My stomach hurts from laughing at that horrible counterfeit.
Anyone have a pic of a real Nazi silver bar or gold bar? I'm curious as to what they look like.

I don't believe that there are any left in existence. The above partial gold bar is the best I can do.
All the Nazi gold, silver & platinum loot that was located by the "Western Allies", was subsequently returned to the different Central European Banks from where the loot originated.

Apparently in this market of various reproductions and bootlegged designs, it doesn't matter as long as there is a potential market, that may like it as a collectible, and of course its real metal.

Not really. People who don't have confidence in their ability to differentiate the good from the bad will avoid all of them.

Perhaps, but what type of metal. I have my doubt that it's all silver.
The price of silver in 1939 was $0.36. This bar weights 1.20 oz for value of $0.43.
Conversion rate of Reichsmark to US Dollar in 1939 was 2.49 with 7.36 Reichsmark valuation of $18.33.
But the 7.36 stamping sure looks good.
then that would make the real ones worth more, right?

Unfortunately, that would only apply to a small % of bullion buyers. The majority of PM eBay buyers, have no clue when it comes to fake bars.
