Not sure if this technically should be on BST but let me put it out there...
To the 93 SP BB pack rippers ... Whoever gets the jeter I'd like to sell a put option for 50. Expiration is receipt of pack prior to rip.
fee on the option is the postage to send me the card. I'll settle via PayPal gift.
    Let me know.

I'm having a tough time reading this. Are you offering $50 for my minty Jeter I pulled or just for the wrapper? You got a deal for the card, but not the wrapper.

Winner, winner, Chicken Dinner! Received my package today. I received a 1985 Topps Baseball rack with Nolan Ryan on the front of one, too.

Thanks BBCE and thanks, again to Mark for lining up the rip.

Another problem is we used to bust 5-7 boxes so Steve could knock the shipping out in a day. Now we are doing 40-50 boxes and at least 2X-3X the people.

After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

So should I post the results in this thread? Or should there be a new thread for showing results?

I guess I will post them here:

In order of how they came out of the pack:

1983 Topps Football Pack 1 - Nice Singletary Rookie

Cards are clean and only minor gum stain.

    Pack 2
Cards more surface residue than the first pack. But still overall very nice

    1981 Topps Football

The Bradshaw was the wax card. Lots of wax on the front.

Hit the Art Monk Rookie. But like most cards in this pack he is off center.

Opened the 2 1980 Topps Football packs. Just like every 1980 Topps Football pack I think I have ever opened. Not that great and some really ugly cards.

You may have some winners in the Carl Eller and Randy White '80 cards. How are they close up?

I feel bad to say this, but I was one of the last ones to pay (Sorry for that), and I just received my package today. I too live about 100 miles away from BBCE. When the weather gets nice this summer, I might just drive into the Chicago area, bring BBCE some lunch, (Probably some White Castle) and pick up a group rip, and do some shopping too.

    Later, Paul.

They are not 10's. Both have some surface issues that I feel will keep them from a 10.

I would be interested in the 85 Topps Dickerson. A childhood card collecting buddys brother had it in a thick screwdown and it was his favorite card. He always rubbed it in our faces even though I didn't follow football as much and didn't know who he was. I wouldn't mind picking it up for sentimental reasons.

The Carl Banks RC would be worth subbing if you think it would come back a 9 or better.
