Yes generally I try to make my trade based on a 1 day to 2 month predictions. But I do have a high degree of confidence in this particular traide going out 12 months
Good pick with NFLX, calleocho! There's a good story on the company this morning on CBS's Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood - love that show! Very insightful look into the company and their position within the entertainment industry. It's up big on the year (hence your 1st place position) and appears to be coming down out of an overbought position on the chart. I'm probably late to the party as always, but this is one good stock to own.
** Disclosure: I own no shares in the company and not trying to hype the stock. Just saying "Good Pick"!

Personally, my pick is a year long pick. I don't expect it to really explode to the upside until Q3. The company I picked it sitting on a mountain of oil in Nigeria and is currently restricted on its export capacity due to pipeline flow. They are currently building a pipeline to tap into the main Shell pipeline and when that is completed they will triple their export capacity and likely double their dividend, at least. I'm hoping for another 50-100% by year's end. I'm actually pretty heavily invested in this company too so wish me luck.

I think its easier to make a long term pick than a short term one. This is why many day-traders go bust while buy-and-hold value investors do well.
I think my pick (Citi) will do well in the next five years, but I couldn't begin to tell you what it will do in the next two weeks (and honestly I don't really care, either).

Interesting. I think its much easier to predict the short-term than the long-term. Buy and hold is usually bailed out by the greatest force in the Universe----TIME. Or the second greatest, inflation.
Paper continues as the place to be this year. I took money out of my stock allotment yesterday and set it aside in cash for a planned vacation getaway condo. By the by, real estate prices in Florida are up and the market is busy. You have to stay diversified.

The tech craziness of the 90's overshadowed value, but it is just as important to hang on to your gains when the market tumbles, and value is much more likely to do that.
<< <i>With my picks I'm relying on BIIB finding a way to keep a 3 hour and 59 minute erection or LULU coming up with a new sport bra. Both very important. MJ >>
Well MJ, maybe they have not perfected the bra, but perhaps the pants?....
From LULU conference call....We have determined that certain shipments of product received from our factories and available in store from March 1, 2013 do not meet our technical specifications. The items affected are certain styles of women's bottoms in our signature black Luon fabric. The ingredients, weight and longevity qualities of the pants remain the same but the coverage does not, resulting in a level of sheerness in some of our women's black Luon bottoms

<< <i>Joefro - what the heck happened this week to MAUXF? Bought some last week, looked good, now not so much. >>
This is somewhat expected. The had the dividend ex-date this week and it is typical (for all stocks, not just MAUXF) to have a bit of selloff after a divy date. That is coupled with the fact that the 4th quarter results from last year and the 1st quarter results from this year will be less than stellar due to the AGIP pipeline being down for maintenance for so long. In the short term (next month or so) it may continue to drop slightly or trade flat around here, IMO. Of course if there is a positive NR on the new pipeline construction or some other good news we could see SP spike right back up. Again, since this contest is for the full year, this is a long play. The new pipeline is scheduled to be completed in the Summer or in Q3 and output capacity will triple. I still think this will be around $3 by the end of the year.
Dividends have now been included (reinvested on the pay date) for the following stock / funds:
C CLCT WAG CHK BAC FTR CAG V MON ABX PTTRX AAPL F BND VPU XOM X FPX LNCO IP MO LINE TSN MAUXF
If one of yours has received a dividend in 2013 and it is not reflected here, or if you should have received one, let me know. Going forward, please drop me a PM when one of your portfolio gets a dividend so I can keep this updated.

whats that say about where were at now.its not your dads world
<< <i>With my picks I'm relying on BIIB finding a way to keep a 3 hour and 59 minute erection or LULU coming up with a new sport bra.

Well that could definitely affect the bottom line!
In real portfolio, doing pretty well in TEAR so far this year.

I'm a little upset because this 50% of the reason I practice yoga. Sheer is good.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Make sure Wings adds any dividend payments to your account.

If one of yours has received a dividend in 2013 and it is not reflected here, or if you should have received one, let me know. Going forward, please drop me a PM when one of your portfolio gets a dividend so I can keep this updated.
I'm up 14 spots this week on my 100% greek bonds pick thanks to angela merkel
I wanted to do well but not at such a cost
Thanks for your hard work, Wings. I know that keeping all this up-to-date must be a monumental task.
