Found a couple unusual bars today. Anything special?

First is a 25.0 oz .999 SSS (Silvex Silver Systems, aka Don Casey Company)

Second is a BSR 14.50 oz .999 (which I could not find any info)

Should these be bought? I don't have an interest in them, just thought they were kind of odd.

They look very crude and someone with a letter/number punch set could easily create similar bars.

Look like 1980 garage refiner bars.
In my opinion they are too crude to collect, but to each his own.

Not for me .. it's just a lump of silver --- "crude looking home made" ...send it to the smelter and end it's existence.

I would not buy them...also, likely hard to 'cash in' or resell....Cheers, RickO

Are you sure they're even made of silver? I don't see SILVER stamped anywhere on them.

I know about the SSS bar, I'd have to look what the SSS stands for but I used to own some. If I recall, this was a company that recycled x-rays and got silver from those

I agree that it may prove very difficult to sell at full price.
