So it's been 11 years since I found this place. Don't remember how, but it's been a long, strange, insightful trip.
Giveaway time: I have an object here on my desk. Describe it. Go into detail. If you think it's a hunk of silver, what size, what shape, serial number or blank, etc. If you think it's a coin, is it raw? Graded? By whom? What's the cert number? Denomination? Mint Mark?
Have fun, folks. Contest ends next Friday night 11/09/12 at 5 pm ET.

Knowledge is the enemy of fear
I knew it would happen.
OK - it is coin and/or bullion related. Since I am not one to start off-topic threads, I assumed that much to be obivous.
<< <i>It's a Marilyn Monroe silver round. Raw. >>
but nearly detail free from excessive rubbing.
Congrats on 11 years. Can I still guess?
It's a PCGS graded Libertad, MS63 with dirty golden toning.

Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
Happy Anniversary!!!
and thanks for the chance!

My guess is a 5g Johnson Matthey .999 silver bar still in original plastic and the serial number is 030608
and oh yeah, thanks for the chance and congrats on your anniversary here. Not getting banned in 11 years is quite an accomplishment here

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I knew it would happen.
In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
Good thread!!!
Is there any other way she'd be?
It has been a long time and a lot of fun.
Got quoins?

Close enough to a Grateful Dead reference to go with this on your desk -
They are nice hunks of metal to hold unruly papers in their place.

It's all about what the people want...

PS my wag is a one of a kind sample slab
Stab in the dark on your item: 2011 Mexican Libertad in original packaging.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Thanks for the chance.
The item is a PCGS 'Circulated' morgan sample slab. While not a one-of-a-kind item, it is a sample slab.
Send me your address and I'll get it in the mail over the weekend.
You and Cameron, the reason I became addicted to sample slabs.
Again congrats on 11+.

Congrats on your Birthday, Mark!
