Passing of Carl Wohlforth

Carl, who has been a member here this past 11 years, passed away on 3 October. Carl's wife has
given me permission to post of Carl's passing.
Earlier this year, Carl underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, even now, having
access to the latest medicines, the most modern machinery, watched over by our very best, most
learned, and talented medical personnel, things will still go awry.
I would just ask that you enter "Wohlforth" into the search box at the top of this page for
postings of Carl. Far more appropriate words are shared there, than I could ever express here.

My GrandFather past away a few years ago from this type of Cancer. It is a nasty and painful way to go. I hope he is in peace and his family can enjoy their memories with him before he had cancer.

Very sad news. Carl will be missed sorely. Our prayers go out to his family.
One of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting here on the boards. He was always friendly and made this hobby somehow better.

I was taking some photo's this weekend of a few of my coins I brought home for the weekend and actually had thought of Carl on Friday night on the first pass of photo's ... thought maybe I would drop him a line to say hello again (it had been a while). You see, one of the coins I have with me I had purchased from Carl ... almost a half a dozen years ago now.
