The gold part of my collection...

It's pretty small next to some of the awesome stuff posted by the members here, but I did get the majority of the larger pieces when gold was running between $300 and $400. I've posted this way back in the past, but all the photos have been retaken. The 1889 $2 1/2 needs to be redone, it's way too bright. Hope y'all like them!

That is a beguiling array.

Like you, I bought mine when bullion was way lower.

With the exception of two slabbed sovereigns, this is all of the gold in MY collection...

Thanks for the props. Not thinking about selling, was just chasing type back in the cheap gold days of the late 90's and early 2000's. I was looking for $3 gold at the time (not 1854 or 1878), but was running into ugly pieces so I just gave up. Then I saw some sort of run up on them later and really dropped looking for them. They appear to have back down to earth some, so maybe I'll give it another go.
