Here's a NewP y'all may or may not have seen on another thread. Although it's not anywhere near the Caliber of coin as the ones above and beyond to the first page it is my first Certified Seated Coin. These are some not so good (stopped scans) lol as Lance said in another thread but I absolutely love the PL to this circulation strike. I have taken a strong interest to seated coins but I still live me barbers.

I don't post many Seated coins, but one came back from the grading room earlier this week. It was a raw pickup, an 1861 Half:

It returned in a XF 45 holder. A rather simple coin, but you can read the history in its surfaces.

I received the coin today and tried to get good pictures with my phone. The holder is horribly scratched so I'm not happy about that. The obverse is semi Pl with toning and the reverse is deep Pl and I can read words about 13inches away. Ive never had a PL older coin like this so I'm super happy. The coin has minimal if any wear and i think the field of the obverse netted it 58. So I'm gonna find a pro coin photographer to really C the true beauty and then update. And tY Mike Hayes. I am learning.

I have a decent set of Seated Half Dimes, but almost all of them are in NGC holders. I'm planning on crossing them to PCGS holders one of these days, but no rush. In the meantime I'm sending new raw purchases to PCGS. In May I picked up a raw 1857 H10C:

A decent coin that came back from PCGS as an AU58 , but the interesting thing it looks like there are misaligned dies on both the obverse and reverse. The reverse is way off!

Jeff - Thanks for posting the '57 HD. Looks like it's punched slightly off-center. Would like to see the ones in the NGC holders also.

I deleted the old scans so I coukd show the new pictures of tbis quarter because those scans did it absolutely no justice and I'm so thrilled to own this beauty. Maybe a little to thrilled haha.

Jeff- that half dime is sweet my guy. Does your collection have any bad ones in it lol? Jk

Well I haven't seen anyone post a $1 lately so here is my very 1st seated dollar. PC-55 CACimage

Paesan- wow that 20c is a stunner. I'm currently hunting that elusive wabbit.
