Nice 1872-s. It's arguably the toughest Seated quarter to find in a PCGS no-problem slab, judging from the population report, where only 37 examples are shown in all grades. That excludes the "impossible" 1873-CC NA, obviously.
Even I was taken aback by seeing the 72-S, knowing its a Key Date. Nice images too. Thanks Vern for posting. Lucky guy, Paesan in finding it.
Larry : Idhair ... I love that half Dime .... Great type coin. Not sure what they call it, but I refer to it as Type One with Stars. The Seated Liberty depicted is my favorite of all Seated coins.
Tyler.... you picked up a beautiful coin there - regardless of its rarity.
Lots of great looking coins getting posted here...keep 'EM coming !!

Spent a wonderful early PM with Doug, looking at coins and discussing numismatics. Many new pics will follow in the next few days, from both Doug's and Paesan's collections.
Here's a handy pic for AM, PC50:

I like dark toning on old halves so I took a risk on this raw 1858-O off of Ebay. This is the seller's less than clear picture, but I would grade it EF45. I'm hoping there are no problems with this coin.

Rhedden, Thanks for the acknowledgement on the 72-S. It's certainly a showcase in my humble collection.

<< <i>Just purchased from eBay - 1870 Fifty Cents - PCGS VF35. It looks like a 40 to me when I compare it to some of my other 40's.
>>
That is a beautiful 1870! However, based upon the wear on the thigh melding with the shield, I would also call it a VF35.
